Dec 2004: 1st Labor, EB3 - stuck in BEC
Mar 2007: Laid Off, labor still pending, lost PD
April 2007: New Employer, required to wait 6 months before GC process starts, missed the July Fiasco
Oct 2007: 2nd labor, EB2 - stuck in Business Requirement Audit
Oct 2008: Changed Employers, 3rd labor, EB3 - New company had other pending EB2 audit, lawyers played safe.
Never worked for a desi or consulting company. All my Employers were American and Fortune 500.

This is the Indian mentality at work. My EB3 bro whose employer(company policy) did not allow him to file under EB2 even though he had over 7 years of experience and was making 70 bucks an hour when he filed, is not better than his EB2 bro just cos he is EB3.
That is it. Nail on the head. No, thats not all, look at the support, and these are Indian folks. I live in a small city with 150 Indian families (most of them doctors and other occupations) who have migrated to the US atleast 25 years back.
These people are just happy that we are here, that they now have a 150 family Indian community that they can call their own.
And here we are, all the skilled Eb2 guys, who are superior to the EB3 guys not wanting their EB3 non-immigrant men to ever get their Green Cards.
It is funny that rather than trying to correct the system, fight the inefficiences and amend the laws, someone is tryin to channelize their energies to fight against their own group. And more surprising is that there are a lot of supporters.
IV, your days are numbered.

One thing for sure USCIS do likes April fools day a lot as this the date they usually pick when the retrogress. This proves that a fool named DOS in love with April fools day.:)
I don't know if anybody has noticed it but the dates for EB-2 for VB October 2007 was April 1, 2004 and for VB October 2008 is April 1, 2003. That is a retrogression of 1 year - not good. :mad:

We are talking about HR 5882,5921 and 6039. Very few people are working very hard to take all of us a step ahead with the GC process and we have lots of hope and we also have direction. Please check with your state chapter lead for latest updates.
Which bills are you talking about? I read most were dropped from Iraq funding bill that passed recently.

Can someone suggest a good attorney (based on your personal experience) for sending AC21 letters to the USCIS? If possible please post the cost involved as well. Preferably in CT/NY/NJ area, any other area is fine too. Thanks!

Probably it differs by state, but DL has no ties with H1-B renewal or vice-versa, at least in CA. My wife's H1 expires in Apr 09, but she recently got her DL renewed until Sept. 2012!! If it was a federal law change (after 9/11), it would have to be applied to every state.

Pushing too much requests into amendends means to get more risks to be removed /denied. Please satisfiy with 1/2 what you are dreaming of. Moreover, IV core group is too much busy with the existing goals (Existing goal = file 485 despite the "current date" , h4 wifes get EAD ...). IV core group need energy for the more realistic goal.

I don't think this is a pattern, its probably specific just to the lender you were working with.
Frankly speaking the lender has the right to deny you the loan for whatever reason they feel is risky. So no point arguing with them.
Try another lender and hope it works.

My IV friends:
Begining April we should see significant movement and EB2 should see many approvals.:D I am not vdlRAO but I expect my approval by Aug/Sept this year-:D:D:D-: a wishful thinking. Say: Amen !!!
