Hi.
My Wife is currently in H4 Visa and in US now. She has total of 11 years IT experience. She lastly worked with a Company X from May 2004 to May 2008 for about 4 years. Currently she is not an employee of Company X and also not working anywhere.
If the same Company X gives an US offer, Is it possible for the Company X to file L1 visa for her so that she can start working for that company immediately ? ( I have read in immigration forums that the L1 Visa Eligibility is that the person should have worked for that company for atleast 1 year within the last 3 years)
Experts, Can you pls give your opinion and suggestion on this ? If so, how long the process takes place for transfering from H4 to L1 visa ?

My Wife had her COS from H4-H1, and I filed my I-485 in July with my wife as secondary applicant and already got our EAD,AP. We are planning to Visit India this month and my wife wants to use her AP while travelling back to US.
1. Is it advisable or are there any issues with using AP.
2. Can she use AP that she received as a secondary applicant and continue to work on H1B with her current employer
3. In Case her Status changes to EAD, can we reinstate her H1B at any point in time without counted against H1B Cap.
Pl Advise.

Bottomline - if you are considering converting your LC case from TR to RIR, then your employer must send an email to DOL by Jan 20th and complete recrutiment process by April 1 ( or else case will be closed without recourse to appeal).

Hi,
I need some advice on what are my options.
I have been working with a consulting company since June 2006. I have an approved Perm and approved 140 with the same company.
Before my Perm and 140 were approved we got my H1-b extended till September 2011.
I am planning to visit my home country and need to attend for Visa stamping. I have booked my tickets too.
The problem is my company has recently changed its location and I have the old address on my paperwork (I-797, LCA etc)
But the latest pay stubs have the new Address.
Will I have any problems when I attend for Visa stamping?
Do we need to apply for the ammendment? In that case should I postpone my trip, get the paperwork and then go for stamping?

Hello, My Labor got certified with PD Oct 2003 under EB2.
I have to file for I-140. Where can I check the status whether it is current or lagging back ? Also is there a Premium 140 for EB2 started or not yet? Since I cannot file for I-485 till it becomes available and current to my PD, does it make sense to file for Premium 140 or should I file regularly?
What are the steps for I-140 and any urls where I can see the status..?

Hi All,
My employer after too much of talks is ready to file. But in all the applications he wants to put his address so that he receives the EAD card and AP..He is not ready to put my address. Can he keep my EAD card ?

Hi,
I wish to scroll horizontally using two custom buttons (a left & a right one) in a FlowLayoutPanel, while disabling the autoscroll properties, as I do not wish to have the scrollbar. The controls that will be added into the FlowLayoutPanel will be subjected to changes, as it depends the number of data in the database.
So is there any tutorial/website that anyone can recommend for this related problem?
And also, I do know what to put for my horizontalscroll.maximum and minimum value as my flow direction is RighttoLeft.

I have just started a thread to ask if there is any need to call our local senators for co-sponsoring S.3084 ( Barbara Boxer), which is identical bill in Senate for HR 6039.
Is core working to get similar bills for HR.5882 and HR 5921 to get introduced in Senate?
